Khalifa Library welcomes new academic staff and students for the First Semester 2021-2022

Khalifa Library at Al Ain University organized a virtual orientation meeting for new academic staff and students who joined the university in the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022. During the meeting, Dr. Abdoulaye Kaba, Library Director, spoke about the library policies, procedures, and facilities provided by the library such; lending services, booking library materials, requesting the provision of information sources, and user education. He also focused on the importance of electronic libraries and their role in supporting distance education, especially in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is noteworthy that currently, the Khalifa Library provides more than 300 thousand electronic and print materials to the users on and off-campus, including books, periodicals, magazines theses and dissertations, and multimedia collections. Moreover, the library provides 114 computers, 39 rooms for group and individual reading and study, and 208 individual or group tables.
