Presentation on Scientific Resources for Law Programs organized by Khalifa Library
In order to support teaching, learning, and research activities, Khalifa Library of Al Ain University in collaboration with the College of Law organized a presentation about scientific resources for law programs. The presentation was delivered by representatives from Knowledge Convoys Co. Ltd. in the presence of Dr. Hussein El –Mouji - Dean, College of Law, Dr. Ahmad Al Jobair – Deputy Dean, College of Law, Mr. Abdoulaye Kaba - Library Director, and Ms. Sameera Mohammad Al-Tammymy - Assistant Library Director.
At the beginning, Dr. El Mouji welcomed the participants and appreciated library effort for organizing this meeting. This was followed by a presentation on, the services and products provided by Knowledge Convoys and how the company can support the College of Law in providing scientific and legal resources. The presenters, led by Ms. Hanan Rajouq, explained about available subscription options to a variety of legal databases, particularly “Al Mohamoon Al Arab” legal databases.
According to Dr. Al Mouji, the provision of this database will contribute to the improvement of, quality of teaching, learning, and scientific research at the college. He also appreciated Knowledge Convoys for delivering this important presentation.
On his comments about this database, Mr. Kaba said “Al Mohamoon Al Arab” is a unique database which provides easy and fast access to legal texts and documents not only in the UAE but also from other GCC countries”.
