Embodying Presence Before Words Dr Shaikha Al Hamoudi From Al Ain University to Leadership Excellence

1. Could you please introduce yourself?
Dr. Shaikha Sulaiman Al Adhab Al Hamoudi, an Emirati national, graduated with honors from Al Ain University. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Strategic Leadership and Social Responsibility. With over fifteen years of experience across both the government and private sectors, I am an internationally certified trainer and consultant. I work across three integrated tracks: Strategic Leadership and Human Resources, Diplomatic Protocol and Emirati Sanad/San'a (cultural etiquette), and Quality of Life and Mental Health in Crises and Emergencies.
Beyond platforms and halls, I am a passionate lover of art; a student at the Arabic Oud House led by the great maestro Naseer Shamma, a Qanun player, and an amateur painter. All of this is united by a core principle I live by: "Presence Before Words."
2. Tell us about your university memories and what Al Ain University represents to you.
For me, Al Ain University was not merely a passing academic phase; it was the starting point that shaped the features of my professional character. I vividly remember the lecture halls, discussions with colleagues, and professors who did not merely convey information, but taught us how to think, question, and research. I also remember the nights of hard work that culminated in graduating with distinction. During that period, I learned that a degree is the beginning of the journey, not its end, and that belonging to an academic institution is a responsibility we carry wherever we go.
3. Tell us about your academic journey.
My academic journey began at Al Ain University, where I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Management Information Systems (MIS), with distinction. That academic excellence served as a strong motivation to pursue further studies. I went on to earn my MBA, and my journey culminated in 2025 with a Ph.D. in Strategic Leadership and Social Responsibility, driven by my realization that genuine leadership is inseparable from its impact on society.
Learning did not stop at academic degrees. I earned international trainer accreditation (TOT–BITA), the "Smart Trainer" international certification, and the Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001:2015. I also completed the DTI24 program and studied Agentic AI systems at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. For me, learning is a lifestyle, not an age-bound phase.
4. Why did you choose your specialization, and what are your future aspirations?
I chose Management Information Systems because it bridges two worlds: management—with its leadership, planning, and human understanding—and technology—with its tools that shape decision-making and accelerate achievement. I realized early on that a successful organization is one that effectively leverages information to serve human needs, and today’s AI revolution confirms the wisdom of that choice.
As for my ambition, I aspire to contribute to building a generation of Emirati leaders who combine professional competence with authentic identity, carrying the values of Emirati etiquette to local and international arenas with confidence and pride.
5. Tell us about your professional journey.
My career spans over fifteen years in the public and private sectors. I held managerial positions at BVC and GRP Pipe Factories in Abu Dhabi, where I learned how organizations operate internally and how investing in human well-being makes a genuine difference in productivity and loyalty.
With accumulated experience, I transitioned toward training and consultancy, developing specialized workshops such as "Silent Protocols," "Presence Before Words," and "From the Shadows to Impact." This goes alongside my focus on quality of life and mental well-being in crises and emergencies, stemming from my belief that human resilience in adversity is the foundation of organizational and societal strength. Today, I dedicate time to producing intellectual content, including the "Protocol Secrets" series, to transfer expertise from training rooms to a broader audience.
6. How did your studies at Al Ain University support your professional career?
Al Ain University gave me something deeper than specialized knowledge; it gave me methodology. I learned analytical thinking, teamwork, discipline in time and responsibility management, and the courage to express my opinions. These skills accompanied me at every milestone, from HR management to speaking in front of trainees and public audiences. The university also instilled in me a passion for continuous learning, which drove me to pursue postgraduate studies all the way to my doctorate.
7. What are the key challenges you face in your current phase?
One of the main challenges is translating deep specialized knowledge into simple, engaging content without losing its scientific value, especially in an era of fast-paced platforms and shrinking attention spans. Another challenge is correcting the stereotypical perception of protocol and etiquette as mere formalities, whereas they are inherently rooted in respect, social intelligence, and noble human values. I always strive to strike a balance between reach and credibility, as real impact matters far more to me than numbers.
8. What are the most prominent achievements or awards you have attained since graduation?
By the grace of God, I have received numerous awards and honors that are hard to enumerate, and I cherish each one as a symbol of dedication and contribution. Among the accomplishments closest to my heart are earning my Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and Social Responsibility, establishing an intellectual identity under the banner "Presence Before Words," and developing the "Digital Creators" framework, which links Emirati cultural etiquette with modern standards of professional presence.
I am also proud of my membership in several specialized training associations, teams, and centers focused on leadership, including the Emirates Leadership Toastmasters Club.
However, the most sincere recognition for me is receiving a message from a trainee or follower telling me that a word or workshop transformed something in their presence and self-confidence.
9. What is the alumnus's role toward the university, and their role in serving society?
An alumnus is a permanent ambassador for their university; every success they achieve is living proof of the quality of education they received. Their role toward the university is to stay connected, share expertise with students, open doors for guidance and training, and help connect them with the job market.
As for society, knowledge is a trust, and its value is only complete when transformed into impact. This is the essence of social responsibility in which I specialized: for a graduate to constantly ask themselves what they have added to their nation and community, rather than what they have taken from them.
10. How can one achieve balance across professional, personal, health, and cultural life?
In my experience, balance is not about an equal division of time, but about an awareness of priorities. I ensure weekly planning and set fixed appointments for health and family just as I do for work, because what gets scheduled gets done.
Art is my personal space to restore balance. In my lessons at the Arabic Oud House, on the strings of the Qanun, and before a canvas I paint, I return to myself. The Qanun taught me a lesson in leadership as well: harmony is achieved only when every string is tuned to its proper place—and life is no different. A person cannot lead or inspire without self-care; taking care of oneself is a prerequisite for continuity and giving.
11. What books have had the greatest impact on your life?
Reading is my constant companion, and I find special enjoyment in novels. Fiction offers what specialized books cannot: the chance to live other lives, understand humans from within, and view the world through different eyes. In its essence, this is a lesson in both leadership and empathy.
One of the recent books that captivated me is "And Forsake Them Gracefully" (Wa-hjurhum Hajran Jameela) by an Emirati author, which was showcased at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026. It always brings me joy to see Emirati literature offering readers depth and beauty worthy of our culture.
12. What are the core pillars that a student or graduate should rely upon?
I summarize them into five pillars:

Identity: To take pride in one's values and Emirati etiquette (San'a), as it is an invaluable asset.
Continuous Learning: A degree opens the door, but ongoing self-development keeps you inside.
Presence: The way you enter, greet, and listen speaks for you before you utter a word.
Agility: Adapting to changes—including AI tools—instead of fearing them.
Impact: Constantly asking oneself about the value being added to others.

13. A final word for the university graduates?
To my fellow graduates of Al Ain University: You carry a name with great standing, so carry it with pride and responsibility. Do not rush results; the long journey creates deep impact. Invest in yourselves, hold fast to your values, and remember that your presence precedes your words—so make it a presence worthy of you and your nation.
My heartfelt gratitude goes to Al Ain University, the first home where this story began.
Presence Before Words

Abdulrahman Al Toum, a Digital Media student at the College of Communication and Media at Al Ain University, secured first place in the AI Hackathon held in the Emirate of Ajman. The competition was organized by the UAE Artificial Intelligence Office in collaboration with the Ajman Transport Authority, with the aim of leveraging artificial intelligence technologies to enhance public transport services and automate operational processes.
Participating in the hackathon for the first time, Al Toum joined a four-member team that took on the challenge titled “Public Transport Operations Automation – Agentic AI.” The challenge focused on utilizing AI agents to plan and schedule bus station trips, manage fleets and drivers, and respond intelligently and instantly to operational changes in ways that enhance community satisfaction.
The team developed a smart application powered by multiple AI agents capable of analyzing a wide range of data and factors affecting transport operations, including weather conditions, traffic congestion, trip demand, bus movements, peak hours, performance indicators, and delays. The solution is designed to support more efficient operational decision-making and enable real-time responses to changing conditions.
In developing the solution, the team integrated artificial intelligence, programming, and data analytics, while utilizing modern AI tools to build a scalable and comprehensive model aimed at improving the efficiency of the public transport system and enhancing the user experience.
Rather than creating an entirely new transport system from scratch, the project was designed to enhance the existing infrastructure. The team began by collecting and analyzing transport-related data in Ajman, identifying patterns and key influencing factors, and subsequently developing an intelligent layer of AI agents on top of the current transport system. This approach enhances its ability to analyze information, make decisions, and respond to operational developments in real time.
In the same competition, Hamza Samir Safi, also a student at the College of Communication and Media, secured third place for his smart project focusing on the use of data and predictive analytics.
This achievement highlights the importance of integrating academic disciplines with emerging technologies and demonstrates the role of students in developing practical solutions to future challenges, while contributing to the UAE’s ongoing journey toward digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

The job market is undergoing rapid transformation with the growing use of artificial intelligence (AI), which has become an integral part of the workplace across various sectors. Keeping pace with these developments and developing digital skills have therefore become increasingly important for enhancing graduates’ readiness and competitiveness.
AI is no longer limited to technical fields. Graduates across various disciplines can benefit from AI tools for learning, searching for job opportunities, preparing resumes, and getting ready for job interviews, as well as for developing their skills and completing professional tasks more efficiently. Knowing how to use AI tools effectively has also become a valuable skill that can give graduates an added advantage when entering the job market. The ability to use these tools to save time, analyze information, develop ideas, and support decision-making is becoming increasingly valuable across many work environments.
At the same time, human skills such as effective communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork remain among the most important skills graduates need. Effective use of AI requires the ability to think critically, analyze information, and verify its accuracy rather than relying entirely on technological tools. In this context, the Alumni Office at Al Ain University continues to support students and graduates through workshops and programs that contribute to developing their professional and digital skills and familiarizing them with the latest trends and technologies shaping the job market.
As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, continuous learning and skills development remain key factors for professional success, enabling graduates to confidently adapt to change and transform emerging technologies into opportunities that strengthen their career development and competitiveness in the job market.

Rasha Abdulsalam, an alumna of Al Ain University, turned her determination to balance motherhood, education, and work into an inspiring success story. Today, she continues to pursue her career in accounting, proving that ambition and effective time management can overcome any circumstance or stage of life.
Tell us about yourself.
My name is Rasha. I am a proud UAE national. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Al Ain University, which was the beginning of my career and helped me enter the workplace and prove myself. I currently work in accounting at a school. I am also a mother, and I am proud of my ability to balance my role as a mother and my family responsibilities with my studies, work, and ambitions. Thankfully, every stage of my life has taught me something new and given me valuable experience.

Tell us about your university memories and what Al Ain University means to you.
My memories at Al Ain University are very special to me. It was a stage full of challenges and responsibilities, but also many beautiful memories. I am thankful that I was able to complete this journey successfully. For me, the university is not just a place where I studied; it is an important part of my life. Whenever I remember it, I feel proud of what I have achieved.

Tell us about your educational journey.
My educational journey was a big challenge for me because I was a mother with responsibilities at home and towards my children. I was even pregnant during my studies. It was not easy to balance all these responsibilities with my studies, but I was determined to complete my education and achieve my goal. Thankfully, I graduated with a GPA of 3.96, which is one of the achievements I am most proud of. It taught me that when a person sets a goal, they can achieve it with determination and faith.

Why did you choose your major, and what are your future ambitions?
I chose Accounting because I like numbers, organization, and calculations, and I felt that this major suited me. Thankfully, after graduation, I started working in the same field, which allowed me to use what I learned at university in my work. My ambition is to continue developing my skills and experience, learn new things in my field, and achieve greater success in my career.

Tell us about your career journey.
After graduation, I started my career in accounting. Thankfully, I was able to use what I learned at university in my work. I currently work in accounting at a school. My choice to work in the education field was not random. As a mother, I wanted a job that would help me balance my work and my children. Having my holidays at the same time as my children’s holidays has helped me a lot. Over the years, I have learned that success at work is not only about having a degree and experience. It also requires flexibility, good time management, working well with others, and taking responsibility.

How did your studies at Al Ain University support your career?
My studies at Al Ain University gave me a strong foundation in Accounting and helped me a lot when I started working. They also taught me commitment, time management, responsibility, and how to deal with work pressure. I will always remember Dr. Amer, may God bless him. He was one of the people who had a positive influence on me during my studies, and I saw him as a role model. I always wanted to be a successful and special person like him and to leave a positive impact wherever I work, just as he left a positive impact on me.

What are the main challenges you face in your current position?
One of the main challenges in accounting is the need to be very accurate, because even a small mistake can affect the work. The job also requires managing many tasks, meeting deadlines, and working with different people and departments. I deal with these challenges by planning ahead, setting priorities, and checking my work regularly.

What are the main achievements you are proud of since graduation?
Honestly, I do not measure my achievements by the number of courses or awards. I consider my biggest achievement to be my ability to balance being a mother, taking care of my family, working, and continuing to develop myself. I always try to learn new things that can help me at work, such as Excel, different programs, modern technology, and Artificial Intelligence. At the same time, I enjoy learning new hobbies. One of the things I really enjoy is designing and creating art pieces because it gives me a chance to be creative and take a break from work and responsibilities. I believe that everyone needs time for the things they enjoy because happiness and balance help us give our best in life and at work. I am very proud of the balance I have achieved.

In your opinion, what is the graduate’s role towards the university and the community?
I believe that a graduate’s relationship with the university does not end after graduation. It is important to stay connected with the university, share experiences, and represent the university in a way that makes it proud. As for the community, I believe everyone can serve their community in their own way, whether through their work, experience, helping others, or sharing what they have learned. Everyone has a role to play in the community.

Based on your personal experience, how can you balance social and professional life?
I believe that time management and setting priorities are very important. I am a mother, I have a home, children, work, and many responsibilities, but at the same time, I do not want to forget myself. I always try to make time for my family, work, myself, hobbies, and health. Of course, we cannot give everything the same amount of time every day, but I try to give each part of my life the attention it needs without putting too much pressure on myself. Taking care of our happiness and well-being is important so that we can continue to give our best.

What books have had the greatest impact on your life?
Honestly, there is no specific book that I can say had the biggest impact on my life. My responsibilities at home, with my children, and at work leave me with limited time for reading. When I have time, I like to read the Holy Quran because it is very close to my heart and gives me the peace and benefit I need.

Based on your experience, what are the most important things a student or graduate should have?
I believe the most important things are commitment, accuracy, responsibility, and the desire to learn. Studying at university is different from working life. A degree gives you a strong foundation, but when you enter the workplace, you learn new things every day and gain experience over time. Every workplace has its own system, way of working, and requirements. That is why it is important to be ready to learn, adapt to the work environment, and develop yourself. You should not be afraid of making mistakes because we also learn from our mistakes. In Accounting especially, I believe honesty and accuracy are very important.
A final message to Al Ain University graduates.
To every graduate, I say: Be proud of what you have achieved, and see graduation as the beginning of a new stage, not the end of the journey. Never stop learning and developing yourself. Always consider continuing your education, whether through a Master’s or PhD, because learning has no age limit, and everyone has their own time and circumstances. One of my personal ambitions is to continue my studies, God willing. I am waiting for my children to grow a little older and for my responsibilities to become lighter. Even if I continue my studies when I am 50, I do not believe age is a barrier. As long as a person has the desire to learn and improve themselves, nothing can stop them. I wish all Al Ain University graduates success and the achievement of their dreams and ambitions.

The job market is undergoing rapid changes driven by technological advancements and the evolving nature of work. As a result, having the right skills has become essential for graduates and employees seeking to succeed and advance professionally. A university degree alone is no longer sufficient; employers are increasingly looking for individuals who can adapt to change and turn knowledge into practical results. Critical thinking and problem-solving are among the most important skills gaining value in today’s workplace, along with the ability to analyze information and make effective decisions. Communication, teamwork, time management, and creativity are also essential skills that help professionals address workplace challenges, build strong professional relationships, and achieve better results. With the growing digital transformation, technical skills and the ability to use digital tools and artificial intelligence have become increasingly important across various sectors. This goes beyond simply knowing how to use these tools; it involves applying them effectively to improve productivity, analyze data, develop ideas, and enhance the quality of work. Project management and task organization skills are also becoming increasingly valuable, particularly as many organizations rely on multidisciplinary teams and multiple projects. The ability to set priorities, manage resources, meet deadlines, and monitor progress contributes to more organized and efficient work. Initiative and a sense of responsibility are also highly valued qualities that demonstrate an employee’s readiness for professional growth. Employees who seek solutions, suggest new ideas, and take the initiative to improve work processes can create value beyond their core job responsibilities. The ability to work in diverse environments and collaborate with people from different backgrounds and areas of expertise has also become increasingly important. This requires professional awareness, mutual respect, active listening, and clear and effective communication. Flexibility and continuous learning are among the skills that continue to grow in importance. With new technologies and professions emerging constantly, graduates need to update their knowledge and acquire new skills that align with the requirements of their fields and the changing needs of the job market. In this changing environment, combining academic knowledge with technical and interpersonal skills, along with initiative and a commitment to continuous learning, gives graduates a strong foundation for meeting the demands of the job market and building a career that can grow and evolve over time.

From the Classroom to the Workplace Common Mistakes That Delay Graduates Career Launch

With every graduation season, thousands of graduates begin their search for career opportunities, carrying high hopes and ambitious goals. However, the transition from university life to the workplace is not without its challenges. Many graduates make mistakes that may delay their ability to secure suitable employment opportunities, despite having the necessary academic qualifications.

Recruitment and career development specialists believe that success after graduation does not depend solely on a university degree, but also on the graduate’s ability to adapt to the demands of the job market, develop their skills, and make well-informed career decisions.

One of the most common mistakes is waiting for the “perfect job.” Some graduates turn down professional opportunities that could serve as a valuable starting point, arguing that they do not fully match their ambitions or specific field of study. Human resources experts emphasize that gaining practical experience at the beginning of a career is often more valuable than waiting too long for a dream job.

Neglecting skill development is also one of the major challenges facing recent graduates. With the rapid development taking place across various sectors, a university degree alone is no longer enough to remain competitive. Technical skills, language proficiency, effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving have become essential qualities sought by employers.

Another common mistake is applying for jobs randomly by sending the same résumé to different organizations without considering the nature and requirements of each position. Recruitment specialists emphasize that tailoring a résumé and cover letter to each opportunity demonstrates professionalism and increases the applicant’s chances of being invited for an interview.

Building professional networks is equally important. Connecting with faculty members and alumni, participating in professional events, and making use of digital platforms such as LinkedIn have become effective ways to access opportunities that may not be advertised through traditional recruitment channels.

Poor interview preparation can also negatively affect employment opportunities. Failing to research the prospective employer or being unable to clearly present one’s skills and experience may leave a negative impression on recruiters, even when the candidate has strong qualifications.

Career development experts point out that learning does not stop after receiving a university degree. Instead, a new chapter of continuous learning begins through training courses, professional certifications, and staying up to date with the latest developments in one’s field, in line with the evolving needs of the job market.

In this context, the Alumni Office at Al Ain University encourages graduates to invest in developing their skills, set realistic career goals, and make use of the career guidance and professional development programs offered by the office. These efforts contribute to enhancing their readiness for the job market. The office also emphasizes that the first job is not necessarily the final destination, but rather a first step toward building a successful career that requires continuous learning, flexibility, and perseverance.

Amid growing competition in the job market, graduates who are better prepared and more committed to continuous learning and development are more likely to seize opportunities and turn their academic ambitions into sustainable professional success. This is the message that the Alumni Office at Al Ain University strives to reinforce through its programs and initiatives aimed at empowering graduates and enhancing their professional success.

Tell us about yourself?
My name is Muhammad Mahmoud Abdel Latif Amarna, a Computer Engineer residing in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. I have a strong background that combines applied engineering and educational technology, and I currently work as an Information Technology Manager and Head of Digital Transformation and Educational Technologies. I am distinguished by my strong passion for integrating Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) into education and developing software solutions, in addition to my extensive experience in academic teaching and providing technical training.
Tell us about your academic journey and what Al Ain University represents to you
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Al Ain University in Al Ain city. For me, Al Ain University is not just an academic institution where I studied; it is the true starting point and the main driving force behind my technical passion. Through it, I built a strong knowledge foundation in programming, embedded systems, and networks. I also had the opportunity to return later as a partner and trainer to deliver workshops in collaboration with various entities. Additionally, I was selected as a member of the judging panel for the university’s Capstone Project Exhibition in 2025, which reflects the depth of mutual connection and ongoing appreciation for this institution.
Tell us about your academic and professional journey
Early technical and research beginnings:
I started as an intern and later as a junior Research and Development (R&D) engineer in electronics companies in Dubai, where I focused on PCB design and IoT systems.
Academic and teaching engagement:
In parallel with my engineering work, I was highly active in the education sector as a Lab Peer Tutor, then Lab Supervisor, and later a visiting lecturer in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and STEM at several reputable institutions inside and outside the UAE
Consulting and leadership:
I later transitioned into an Educational Technology Consultant role, eventually becoming an Information Technology Manager and Head of Digital Transformation at Al Wardiya Private School. In this role, I lead digital transformation strategies, manage accounts for over 1,700 users, develop AI-based solutions for the institution, and train teachers in AI, design thinking, and innovation.
Why did you choose your major? What are your future aspirations?
Reason for choosing the major:
I chose Computer Engineering because it bridges the “physical world” (hardware and electronics) and the “virtual world” (software and artificial intelligence). My passion for transforming programming ideas into tangible devices that solve real-world problems was the main motivation.
Future aspirations:
I aspire to lead broader digital transformation initiatives at both national and regional levels, and to innovate generative AI-based educational solutions to empower the next generation. I also aim to continue research and development in intelligent systems that serve humanity.
Tell us about your volunteer and community contributions
Delivering voluntary workshops and awareness sessions in collaboration with universities and government entities such as the University of Sharjah and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to promote the culture of the Internet of Things (IoT).
Leading and training students in non-profit and community organizations such as the Abdullah Al Ghurair Foundation, focusing on teaching technology and robotics to youth.
Participating in various national volunteering events in the fields of sports, health, and education.
What are the main challenges you face?

One of the main challenges is keeping up with the rapid evolution of educational technology and the varying levels of digital readiness among learners and educators. Another challenge is achieving a balance between educational authenticity and the demands of modern innovation.

In your opinion, what is the role of a graduate toward the university and society?
Role toward the university:
A graduate should be a true ambassador of the university in the job market through ethical behavior and professional excellence. They should also maintain alumni connections by sharing practical experience with current students and contributing to curriculum development or project evaluation. I have previously delivered a workshop in April 2024 and served as a member of the judging committee in April 2025.
Role toward society:
A graduate should apply academic knowledge to solve societal problems. For example, I developed an AI-powered UAV/UGV system designed to detect victims and assist rescue teams during natural disasters in collaboration with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. This perfectly reflects how an engineer serves their community.
How do you maintain balance between your professional and personal life?
The key lies in “priority management and smart scheduling,” and integration rather than rigid separation.
Professional and intellectual life: I integrate my professional passion with cultural development through continuous reading, obtaining professional certifications, and staying updated with technological advancements.
Health and social life: I dedicate time to family and friends away from screens, and I organize my daily schedule to ensure sufficient rest, maintain productivity, and avoid burnout. I also rely on digital tools (which I manage due to my expertise) to automate daily tasks and free up personal time.
What are your key achievements and awards?
Global certifications:
Certified Gemini Faculty from Google (2026), Certified ChatGPT Expert from OpenAI, and certified Arduino and Raspberry Pi engineer.
Innovation achievements:
Development of the intelligent school client system (Rosario AI Agent) in 2026, designing a digital school mascot, and representing the UAE in the 44th International Youth Innovation Competition in Beijing, where our team achieved second place globally in three innovative projects under the supervision of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Basit Education Company.
Academic recognition:
Selected as a judge for the Capstone Showcase 2025 graduation projects at Al Ain University, which is an honor I highly value.
What are the key pillars of success for a student or graduate?
Continuous learning and adaptability: Technology changes monthly, not yearly. Professional certifications (such as those offered by Cisco, Google, and Microsoft) are essential alongside academic degrees.
Hands-on experience and projects: Building personal projects and participating in competitions makes a significant difference in a CV (portfolio).
Soft and educational skills: Communication, simplifying complex concepts, and teamwork are essential. A successful engineer is one who can explain complex technical ideas to non-technical people in a simple way.
Final message to graduates
“Your university degree from Al Ain University is the essential key that opens the door, but your passion, your ability to adapt to modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, and your continuous self-learning will determine how far you progress in your career. Do not stop experimenting, and do not fear failure in projects. Every incorrect programming or engineering attempt is a stepping stone toward a great innovation. Believe in your abilities and always aim to leave a positive impact that benefits society and supports positive digital transformation.”
