The College of Education discusses the causes of child misbehavior

The Deanship of Student Affairs (Abu Dhabi Campus), in cooperation with the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, organized a virtual lecture entitled "Why does a child misbehave", presented by Dr. Salwa Al-Majali, a faculty member at Al Ain University.

The lecture included several aspects, the most important: understanding the child's right and wrong behavior, the skill of building a positive relationship, and the skills of encouragement instead of praise. Al-Majali also mentioned some examples of wrong behavior such as drawing attention, force, conspiracy or revenge, as well as helplessness.

She also discussed the alternative behavior of parents in dealing with abnormal (problematic) behavior, and the adoption of correct upbringing methods that contribute to the child's behavior.
