Eid Al Adha provides opportunity for AAU family to come together
The AAU family at Al Ain and Abu Dhabi campuses came together to exchange greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha Al Mubarak. Attended by Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President, and Dr. Amer Qasem, AAU Vice President (Abu Dhabi Campus), the meeting was a positive demonstration of Al Ain University policies, aimed at encouraging staff cohesion and a collegial working environment.
The President addressed AAU staffs at the meeting, warmly wishing them a year of health and happiness, with Allah’s blessings. He said: “It’s great to start the first day of the new academic year 2018-2019 with this gathering of the AAU family. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage your ongoing efforts and hard work throughout the year ahead. I hope it will be a year full of achievement and advancements benefiting the University and its students.”
AAU Vice President also communicated his warm wishes to the AAU family on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, expressing his enjoyment of the morning’s gathering, an event reflecting the spirit of staff cohesion and community at AAU.
The gathering is held annually in order to allow staff to exchange greetings and promote positive linkages between members of the AAU staff family.
