AAU Students visit the Al Ain Book fair


AAU Library in collaboration with the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences organized a scientific visit to the Al Ain Book Fair in its Ninth edition. The purpose of the visit is to renew and strengthen cooperation with publishers and distributors, and obtain the valuable and latest publications of different specializations.

The visit was successful with the participation of students and faculty members from the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences. The delegation was led by two librarians Mr. Abdoulaye Kaba and Ms. Rihab Ahmad El Nur, and two faculty members Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Al Jamal and Dr. Eisa Rabeeh. 

According to Mr. Kaba, Library Director: “Visiting book fairs is essential for library collection development, promoting reading and writing, and getting in touch with local and international publishers”. He added: “We will continue to organize such visit to other book fairs locally and internationally”.
