Lively Discussion about “Press Reader” at Khalifa Library
In an effort to bring awareness on information resources among faculty members, Khalifa library in Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus- organized a discussion about “PressReader” website, which is a hub of news where people can read, share, and talk about more than five thousands newspapers and magazines.
The discussion was attended by Dr. Khazim Al Khazam – Dean of College of Communication and Media, with the presence of faculty members of the College of Communication and Media and library staff. For nearly two hours, the discussion was moderated by Mr. Abdoulaye Kaba – Library Director and the discussion were about the main features of “PressReader” and how faculty and students can use it for learning, teaching, and scientific research.
According to Dr. Khazim, faculty members can use the “PressReader” for teaching media related courses and it is a fast reference for students to help them in assignment and project papers.
From his part, Mr. Kaba appreciated the Communication and Media College’s participation in this important discussion and promised that the library will continue in supporting AAU’s educational programs and scientific researches.
